"I really enjoy music and participating in it. I have played the guitar for the past six year and have really gotten to enjoy it," Jonathan said.
My Top 10
1. Led Zeppelin – Stairway to Heaven - This has got to be the greatest song of all time. I also regard Jimmy Paige as a brilliant, creative and revolutionary guitarist.
2. Bob Dylan – Mr Tambourine Man - I was exposed to the lyrical genius of Bob Dylan while doing an English project and from then on have also enjoyed his music.
3. Jimi Hendrix – Voodoo Child - As a guitarist I love the legends and Jimi is definitely one of the best, by far.
4. Linkin Park – Runaway - They have been my favorite band for the last 10 years and I still have not lost interest in them and this has to be my favorite song.
5. Nirvana – Smells Like Teen Spirit - Every teenager I know loves Nirvana and it's no mystery why, Kurt Cobain had some extraordinary skill to be one of the founding fathers of Grunge.
6. J.S Bach's – Fugue in G minor - Being a music student I have come to enjoy and appreciate classical music and I was asked to arrange this piece to be played by a standard band; it was the best project I've ever done.
7. Evanescence – Bring Me to Life - I love this band and this song especially. The singing is excellent and combines almost operatic singing with rock backings; truly brilliant.
8. Avenged Sevenfold – Almost Easy - Great band, great song and even greater guitarist.
9. Natasha Bedingfield – Unwritten - I never thought this would be in my top 10 but this song has a lot of memories attached to it and has always been able to bring them back again.
10. Gary Jules – Mad World - The soundtrack to my favourite movie, Donnie Darko, this song talks about how crazy the world is through the eyes of a teenager and I find this extremely relevant to my life.
