The band are up against Doves; Friendly Fires; Kasabian and Muse for Best British Group, whilst they will compete with Florence And The Machine; Friendly Fires; La Roux and Pixie Lott for Best British Breakthrough Act. They are also up against Alesha Dixon; Alexandra Burke; Cheryl Cole; Joe McElderry; La Roux; Lily Allen; Pixie Lott; Taio Cruz and Tinchy Stryder featuring N-Dubz for Best British Single.

Speaking on Twitter, Aston said life was "still surreal", whilst the band said the nominations were "incredible".
