WHAT do you do if you have played in the biggest band in pop history? If you are Abba's drummer (Roger Palm) or saxophonist (Ulf Andersson) or guitarist (Janne Schaffer) you do it all again – with a huge orchestra and amazing singers which have the blessing of the original four.
Abba the Show is now a global concert tour, playing to hundreds of thousands of fans across America, Europe and Asia. And on December 6 the show lands in Belfast to kick off the 11-date UK arena tour.
Looking forward to the tour, Ulf explained: "I was an original member of the backing group. I started working with ABBA in the 70s and first played on I Do, I Do, I Do, which has a great saxophone feature in it.
"I played on different albums and in 77 I had the great luck to play with the band on their tour in Europe and Australia."
As well as working with ABBA, Ulf had been recording and playing with other bands.
When a group in Stockholm decided to put together an ABBA tribute act they wanted to include musicians from ABBA's backing band in the act. Ulf was delighted to join the new show and has been playing with 'ABBA The Show' for the past eight years.
"People wonder how you can do it over and over again but when you get on stage and see the audience having fun it gives you your energy back.
"I am 70 next year but I would like to go on as long as I feel well and enjoy it. I haven't been to Belfast before and I am really looking forward to it."
The show kicks off at the tail end of the 60s when Bjorn, Benny, Agnetha and Frida meet to play together for the very first time.
Throughout the course of the production, the audience is led on a magical journey through the rise and rise of ABBA. Featuring classic songs such as Waterloo, SOS, Mamma Mia, Dancing Queen, Money Money Money, Knowing Me Knowing You and many more, this promises to be the must-see event of the year!
The multi million pound live show is not to be missed. Last year, fans and media alike were dazzled by the size, the scale and the sheer fun of what is fast becoming one of the rising shows of the live circuit: Abba The Show.
