CHART topping American recording artist Dean Friedman, best known to local audiences for his classis hits 'Lucky Stars', 'McDonald's Girl', 'Lydia', 'Aerial' and 'Woman of Mine' comes to Lisburn on Thursday October 29 as part of a 40 city UK and Ireland tour.
Friedman's single 'McDonald's Girl', an irrepressible pop song, has been covered by a number of contemporary bands, including the groundbreaking Canadian group Bare Naked Ladies.
Friedman composes and produces music soundtracks for TV and film, including the music to the Central TV series Boon and also presents/produces the acclaimed radio series 'Real American Folk' on BBC Radio Scotland.
He will be performing solo, on guitar and keyboards, songs from throughout his thirty year career, including familiar radio hits, as well as selections from his more recent CDs, including the critically acclaimed 'Squirrels in the Attic' - comedy songs for adults - plus new material from his latest CD.
