Saints show no mercy!

TIR NA NÓG travelled to Belfast with a much weakened team on Wednesday evening to take on an in form St Teresa’a outfit in All County Football Division II.

As the score line suggests this was an easy win for the Belfast team, leading at half time 0-10 to 0-1. Oran McAuley scoring Tir na nÓg’s only point and adding a further 1-11 without reply to run out convincing winners.

Nothing went Tir na nÓg’s way as no referee turned up which seriously delayed the starting of the game some forty minutes late.

While the Tir na nÓg lads tried their best the scores kept coming.

Brendan Byrnes put in a superb performance in helping to keep the goal count down, well done Brendan.
