Irish U-16 honour for Randalstown club-mates

RANDALSTOWN Hockey Club players Zoe Wilson and Ayeisha McFerran have been selected for the Irish U16 hockey team.

They travelled to compete in the European Championships in Valencia last Wednesday.

There, the girls will were in action against Italy, Netherlands and Czech Republic before competing in the play-off games.

Prior to that, the girls were in action against Scotland in the Celtic Cup when they beat Scotland 3-2 and 4-1 on successive days at the end of June.
