Rams Island litter lift

ENJOY a great family day out while doing your bit for the environment at this year’s World Wetlands Day Litter Lift on Rams Island on Saturday.

The theme for this year’s World Wetlands Day on February 2 is Wetlands and Water Management.

The event will be marked locally with the Litter Lift on Rams Island.

While visitors to the island are very good at taking their litter with them, floods bring a lot of litter to the island.

For those wishing to take part in the Litter Lift and Tour, a boat will leave Sandy Bay at 11am. Light refreshments provided by RBLNAC.
