Crosskennan Lane Animal Sanctuary spring open day

CROSSKENNAN Lane Animal Sanctuary in Antrim is having a Spring Open Day on Sunday, March 3 from 1pm to 4pm.

The charity is inviting friends, sponsors and the public to come along to enjoy the afternoon’s fun.

There will be pony rides with Thomas and Jake, two of Crosskennan’s sponsor animals.

Other attractions include BBQ, Novelty Dog Show, Face Painting, Raffles,Music, Dog Agility,Tombola, Bric a brac, stalls, tea, coffee and snacks.

This is a great opportunity to see the work carried out by the charity which was established in 1996.

Find out how you can help Crosskennan: become a volunteer, sponsor a CLAS animal, rehome a rescued horse, dog or cat and many other ways.

Admission tickets are as follows: adults £2, children £1, with a raffle prize for one lucky ticket holder.

You’re welcome to bring a gift of carrots, apples, dog food or cat food and don’t forget to wear your wellies.

The charity asks all visitors to park carefully and to be considerate of the residents of the surrounding roads.
