Application process for grants modified

CHANGES to the application process for Antrim Sports Advisory Association Grants (ASAA) have been agreed by Antrim councillors.

The ASAA grants provide financial support, according to grant criteria, to sporting individuals or clubs who reside or operate within the borough, with the funding provided by Antrim Council.

However, changes to the process were put forward to simplify the application process after a number of forms were returned incomplete and lacked relevant information to evaluate applications.

At last Tuesday morning’s meeting of the council’s Development and Leisure Committee, members agreed to the changes.
