THE ADVERSE weather conditions robbed Templepatrick of a possible four points in midweek.
The rearranged Division 1 Section 3 fixture against bottom of the table Millpark started on Tuesday evening at The Cloughan, but was abandoned 24 hours later without a ball being bowled in the second innings.
In glorious sunshine on Tuesday the Millpark skipper opted to take first knock, and with the help of no fewer than seven dropped catches, managed to stretch their tally to 160 all out in the forty-fifth over.
Robert Smith was tops in the bowling department with 3 for 34 off ten, while Keith Wilson and Gareth Boyd each had a brace - 2 for 35 off ten, and 2 for 20 off six, respectively.Josh Dailly had 1 for 15 off seven, while the Busby brothers weighed in with one apiece - Chris with 1 for 25 off eight, and John with 1 for 4 off 1.1 overs.
Reflecting on the evening's play Keith Wilson said, "Millpark would have been struggling to get their total in to three figures if we had held our catches.”
