SUN Sun Stephenson, the promising 16-year-old Muckamore pace bowler, returned remarkable figures of six-for-five off 10 overs as the Second XI overwhelmed Dungannon II in the first round of the Intermediate Cup on Sunday.
Dungannon, on their home pitch, were hustled out for 48. At one stage they had crawled to 10-for-six from 20 overs. The first seven overs of the innings were maidens and Andy McCulloch, who shared the new ball attack, conceded only five runs in 10 overs.

Jason Van Der Merwe and Craig Drummond shared the other wickets, and the former hit an unbeaten 28 as the visitors cruised to their target for the loss of Drummond for 10.

In the second round on Saturday week, Jonathan Kennedy's team will be at home at Carrick II. The teams lock horns again at Carrick 24 hours later.
