OLD Bleach bowlers Neil Booth, James Talbot and Sammy Hall played a prominent role as Ireland regained the Home International title at Belmont Bowling Club last weekend.
Neil skipped his rink of Jonathan Millar (Ballymena), DJ Wilson (Dunbarton) and Barry Browne (Whitehead), while James played second on a rink with Paul Daly (Ulster Transport), Robin Horner (Belmont) and Alan Montgomery (NICS). Sammy, who was making his international debut, played second alongside Gary Kelly (Ballymoney), Martin McHugh (Whitehead) and Gary McCloy (Portrush).

The Irish team won all three games, scoring a comfortable win over Scotland, then fighting back to defeat England and finally completing a successful series with another win over Wales. Everyone associated with the Old Bleach club is delighted with the players' success and look forward to further achievements at international level in the future.

Meanwhile, congratulations to Iain Harrison who has again been selected for the Private Greens League Under 25 team for the Inter-Association series on July 17-18.
