With the Northern Ireland Hospice Coffee Morning fast approaching, the local charity is appealing for people from Antrim to share a coffee on Thursday, September 19.
Getting involved is easy; simply host a coffee morning, invite friends and family, and charge £2 per cup served to help local adults with terminal illnesses.
Asking everyone to join in with the annual Hospice Coffee Morning, Lynn Cowan, Events Fundraiser at Northern Ireland Hospice says; “There’s still time to register for a Hospice Coffee Morning.
This year, £75,000 needs to be raised from the event to ensure that Northern Ireland Hospice can continue to provide its vital services to local people with terminal illnesses and their families.
Taking part in the event is easy; everyone is simply encouraged to get together and host a coffee break, charging £2 per cup served.
If the official date of Thursday, September 19 doesn’t suit, you can choose a different day to hold your event.
A free supply of Bewley’s coffee will even be supplied to everyone who hosts a coffee morning.”
If you want to get involved in the annual Coffee Morning but can’t host an event of your own, you can still share a coffee with Northern Ireland Hospice by coming to the Antrim Hospice Shop on Tuesday, September 17 and the Randallstown Hospice Shop on Thursday from 10am.
The local Hospice Shops will be hosting their own Coffee Mornings and everyone is welcome to come grab a coffee and a bargain.
There’s still time to sign up for the annual Hospice Coffee Morning on Thursday, September 19.
