Three people had to received treatment for smoke inhalation after a house fire in Cookstown.

Firefighters responded to a fire at an end-terrace house at Church Street in the town on Monday evening.

Wearing breathing apparatus they used a hosereel jet to extinguish the blaze.

A 50-year-old woman, a 49-year-old man and a 16-year-old youth received oxygen therapy from FRS for mild smoke inhalation at the scene.

A 43-year-old woman suffered mild smoke inhalation but did not want treatment.

Fire crews from Cookstown station attended the incident.
