Teenager charged with theft
A young Rathfriland man who has been detained in custody facing theft charges, appeared via video link at last week’s local Magistrates Court.
The court heard how 18 year old Robert Cochrane from Ulster Avenue has been in custody for almost a month.
He is charged with four counts of theft of various items from Supervalu Rathfriland and once charge of attempted theft.
He was remanded in custody and will appear in court in person next Thursday, 21 August.
