Only one 12 hour wait at A&E

Craigavon Area Hospital had only one patient waiting for treatment in excess of 12 hours during the period between April and June.

That was the finding of a report from the Department of Health on waiting time targets at Northern Ireland’s Accident and Emergency Departments.

The report also found thatNewry’s Daisy Hill Hospital also had only one occasion when a patient had to wait longer than 12 hours.
