WORK has got underway at the new Women’s Aid Cornerstone project in Antrim.
The ‘Cornerstone’ building will be a new centre for children and young people affected by abuse at home.
The centre and services will support children and young people who have experienced abuse in the home and will complement the Safe Haven Garden.
The charity will continue to run their ‘Make it Better’ campaign to raise funds to support the centre and sustain the services being provided.
The building has been provided through the generosity of funders, including PSNI, NHSCT, Ulster Garden Villages, Garfield Weston, Enkalon and the Make It Better campaign.
Robin Parks, the Architect who designed the building laid the cornerstone.
