Two due in court over Antrim attacks
A MAN and a teenage girl have been charged with offences in connection with a series of attacks on homes in Antrim on Monday.
A 44-year-old man is accused of five offences including aggravated burglarly with intent to inflict grevious bodily harm and disorderly behaviour.
A 16-year-old girl is charged with aggravated burglarly with intent to inflict grevious bodily harm.
They are due to appear before Coleraine Magistrates Court today.
Three properties in the Greystone estate were damaged during a spate of attacks on Monday evening.
Eight windows were smashed at one property, shortly after 9pm.
Shortly after 10pm it was reported that windows at a second property, an upstairs flat had been smashed by a group of people. Again it’s believed an attempt was made to force entry.
At 10.13pm police received the third report stating that another property in Firmount Drive had been deliberately set alight.
The property was unoccupied at the time.
