Roy Thompson elected Mayor of Antrim

COUNCILLOR Roy Thompson has been elected Mayor of Antrim at the council’s annual general meeting on Thursday.

The DUP councillor will be supported in his term of office as civic leader by Roderick Swann (UUP), who was elected deputy mayor.
