Appeal after man is assaulted

POLICE in Antrim are appealing for information following an assault in the Main Street area of Crumlin on Sunday, June 3.

Sometime between 2am and 2.30am, a man was assaulted by unknown persons and was taken to hospital to be treated for severe bruising to his nose and eye.

Anyone who may have witnessed this incident is asked to contact police in Antrim on 0845 600 8000.
