Antrim Road Safety Week
AS part of Road Safety Week (February 22-28), a range of experts from organisations such as PSNI, NI Fire and Rescue Service, Ambulance Service and DOE Roads Service will be on hand to provide advice on road safety issues at different venues throughout the Borough.
The venture, led by Antrim and District Road Safety Committee, is aimed at raising awareness of road safety issues and reducing the number of people who are killed or seriously injured on the roads.
Councillor Brian Graham, Chairman of Antrim & District Road Safety Committee, said: “As a committee, we are continually striving to make our roads safer. Road Safety Week is a great way of delivering important messages and advice to the general public.
“I would encourage everyone to attend and meet some of the professionals responsible for making our roads safer for all who use them.”
Information will be available between 2pm and 4pm at the following venues:
• Wednesday, February 22 – ASDA, Antrim
• Thursday, February 23 – Randalstown Arches
• Friday, February 24 – Tesco, Crumlin
• Saturday, February 25 – Castle Mall, Antrim
• Monday, February 27 – Toome House
