WOMEN from Antrim Baptist Church are helping the community to get into shape this summer by running a Walk for Life programme in May.

Walk for Life is a walking programme that is free of charge and will take place every Wednesday evening until the end of May.

There are different categories of walk to cater for all levels of fitness and all of them will start from Antrim Baptist Church on the Greystone Road (opposite Greystone Library) at 7.15pm.

Hazel Stewart, one of the organisers, said: “Walk for Life is a great opportunity for ladies to get some exercise in the fresh air and make new friends.

“They can enjoy a healthy supper and hear about the lives of local women.”

All women are welcome to come along.

The next walks will be held on May 9, 16 and 23.
