Women’s Aid Easter Draw winners

Women’s Aid’s successful Easter hampers draw has raised £287.20 for the ‘Make It Better’ appeal for children and young people affected by domestic violence.

Cuddly bears, chocolate and sweets were donated by local volunteers and friends of Women’s Aid Antrim, Ballymena, Carrickfergus, Larne & Newtownabbey to make up 10 Easter hampers which were distributed across the

five areas.

Congratulations to Mr P. Brown and Heidi Thompson from Ballymena, Imelda McNeill and Emma McGuigan from Antrim, Elaine Lee and Mark Anderson from Larne and Flo Beckett and Mrs Green from Newtownabbey on being the lucky winners who were chosen from over 250 entries.

Ruth Owen, Fundraising Coordinator for Women’s Aid ABCLN: “A big thank-you to everybody who entered the draw helping to raise funds for the Make It Better Appeal. Fundraising is vital in order to continue our services providing emotional and practical support to over 7,000 children and young people last year.”
