Antrim Recycler of the Month JC14

Tony McCloskey from Crumlin is Antrim Borough Council ‘Recycler of the month’ for April.

Deputy Mayor of Antrim, Councillor Brian Graham and Councillor Roy Thompson, Vice-Chair of Environment and Borough Services committee presented Tony with his £50 cash prize at Crumlin Household Recycling.

Leona Donaghy, Environmental Awareness Officer with Antrim Borough Council, said: “Tony visits the centre regularly to recycle a range of items such as glass bottles and jars, which he makes sure still have the lids on, and other items for reuse.

“Crumlin Household Recycling Centre has the facilities to accept an extensive range of items such as electrical goods paint and garden waste and is open weekdays and Saturdays from 9am until 8pm during summer months.”
