School is almost out for Summer, so if you are looking for something to keep the children occupied over the coming weeks then look no further than Summer Inferno!

Summer Inferno returns for another year of exciting, physical activity programmes offering children the opportunity to try out a wide range of fun-filled sports and activities. These include street games, boot camp, swimming, martial arts, orienteering, climbing wall and much more.

Taking place every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for three weeks, from July 29 to August 14, the Active Antrim Kidz (age four to seven years) will meet from 9.30am to 12 noon with the Active Antrim Challengers and Avengers (age eight to 14) taking place from 1pm to 4pm.

Anna Boyle, Sport and Physical Activity Development Manager with Antrim Borough Council, said: “This is a fantastic programme to get the kids outdoors and keep them active this summer.

“With a wide variety of activities on offer, there is definitely something to suit everyone. With the Commonwealth Games taking place shortly there will be some Commonwealth activities included in the programme. But hurry as places are limited.”

Cost for the programme is £20 per week for Kidz and £27.50 per week for the Challengers and Avengers. There is a discounted price of £55 for Kidz and £75 for Challengers and Avenger if all three weeks are booked.

Registration opens on Tuesday, June 24. For further information or to register, please contact a member of the Active Antrim Team on 028 9446 3113.
