A nationwide festival celebrating young people doing innovative and inspiring things in amazing spaces was launched in Antrim this week.

Summer of somewhereto_ is a three-week festival celebrating fresh young talent in amazing spaces.

Extending across six cities - Aberystwyth, Antrim, Glasgow, Lancaster, Leicester and London Peckham - somewhereto_ is open to 16 to 25 year olds.

Each city or town will host a plethora of exciting one-off events and activities curated by local young people which range from live music, dance and theatre performances, open mic sessions, to pop-up market stalls where you can by food, clothing apparel and unique textile designs, to screenings of indie films, photography & art exhibitions, workshops in areas such as broadcast or gaming, panel discussions with industry experts and more.

Mentoring and tailored workshops will play a significant role at summer of somewhereto_ encouraging young people to gain new skills and endorsements through experiential 
earning.

somewhereto_ is association with SYCO Entertainment are working with professional talent scouts to co-host master-classes and workshops to help 16 to 25 year olds establish best practices and skills for artist evolution, which young people across the six regions will be able to sign-up to via www.somewhereto.com/summer.

SYCO will be holding a day of auditions and workshops on July 26.
