Get out and enjoy the beautiful weather at this year’s Antrim Walk on Saturday, June 28.
This six mile walk, organised by Antrim Borough Council for Macmillan Cancer support, is suitable for people of all fitness levels.
Walking is one of the easiest fundraising events you can take part in and all the money raised will be used to help local people with cancer and their families.
Mayor of Antrim, Councillor Brian Graham said: “Every penny raised is going to Macmillan Cancer Support, which helps countless families throughout the Borough and Northern Ireland.
“So, lace up those walking boots, put your best foot forward and let’s raise some money for this very worthwhile cause.”
Macmillan Fundraising Manager, Maria Small added: “The Antrim Walk keeps going from strength to strength and I have no doubt that this year’s walk will be even better.
“This year’s route is a 6 mile adventure taking in a number of Antrim’s most scenic sites including the Award winning Antrim Castle Gardens and the enchanting grounds of Greenmount College including their Richardson’s Walled Garden.
“There will be something for everyone to enjoy with some well-deserved entertainment and refreshments at the finish line.”
