Antrim Borough Council is celebrating the New Year with a recycling competition for residents.
Simply visit one of the Household Waste Recycling Centres throughout the Borough with your recyclable items, fill in the entry form and pop it into the box to be in with a chance of winning a £50 cash prize, funded by the DOE’s Rethink Waste campaign.
Residents can visit the centre as often as they want during the month with recycling items and submit one entry per visit.
The draw will be made on the last week of every month and winners will be contacted from the details provided on their entry slip.
Leona Donaghy, Environmental Awareness Officer with the Council, said: “The competition is not only to thank residents for all their recycling efforts over the past year, but also to act as a reminder to residents that recycling has its rewards.”
Terms and conditions apply and are displayed at Newpark, Randalstown & Crumlin Household Recycling Centres. The current opening times are Monday to Saturday 9am to 6pm.
