Antrim Town Sinn Fein Councillor Noel Maguire has expressed anger regarding an attack on a bus shelter in Rathenraw.
He has called on anyone who witnesses anti-social behaviour to speak out.
Cllr. Maguire, who lives in the estate, said: “I am appalled by yet another mindless act of vandalism at the bus shelter in Rathenraw.
“I am glad to see that the panels that were smashed have already been replaced, but goodwill is wearing thin and we could lose this bus shelter if attacks of this nature continue.
“The community lobbied hard to have this shelter installed and it has proved essential particularly for our older residents and the large numbers of school children who use it daily.
“I am grateful to Antrim PCSP and the Community Safety Wardens for their quick response to this incident, but they need the support of the community. If you witness any anti social behaviour, please speak up.”
