Local businesses pleased to gainWorldhost status

A number of local businesses have become the latest organisations in Northern Ireland to gain national recognition for their commitment to customer service, after being award WorldHost Recognised Business Status.

With over 90% of their staff trained to WorldHost standards, Cafe Couture, Mount Slemish Boarding Kennels and Pinegrove Lodge Bed and Breakfast have officially become WorldHost Recognised Businesses and were officially presented with their awards by Mr Sammy Gamble, Operations Manager, Skills Solutions, at a reception at Cafe Couture.

On receiving the recognition, Ian Brown, Consultant at Cafe Couture said: “I am delighted to have achieved World Host Business Status and would highly recommend the programme to others.

“Business is tough at the moment and organisations should not miss out on this excellent opportunity to upskill their workforce and help raise the standard of customer service, by providing a first class service to every customer every time whether they are from across the world or across the street.”

Barbara Evans, Slemish Kennels and Dog Grooming said: “I was introduced to World Host at a time when I was soul searching about how I could improve my business and the service.
