The festive season will be in full swing at Antrim Lough Shore Park on Thursday, December 12 when it’s transformed by Antrim Borough Council into a magical Winter Wonderland!
There will be something for all the family to enjoy between 6pm and 8pm.
Make sure you get there early to see Santa arriving by boat along the Six Mile Water River around 6.15pm.
Children will be able to visit Santa in his Grotto and take part in a range of activities including festive train rides, face painting and Jump Jiggle and Jive’s Christmas themed dance workshop.
There will be Christmas music at the Cool FM Radio Roadshow, mulled wine, mince pies and lots of Christmas cheer.
For the more creative children, there will also be a chance to take part in free Christmas themed arts & crafts!
Karen Steele, Development Manager (Visitor Servicing), said: “Antrim Borough Council is pleased to showcase the Lough Shore Park in all its winter glory by transforming it into a true Christmas Wonderland.
“I would encourage everyone to come along to the event to enjoy Christmas music and meet the Christmas characters and stilt walkers who will create a very festive atmosphere.
“Clementsmount Fun Farm will also add sparkle to the evening by bringing their mobile farm. All in all, this event will be a great opportunity to celebrate the festive season in style!”
Admission is free to the event and there is £1 charge per child for Santa’s Grotto (small gift included).
There is free car parking at the Lough Shore Park and disabled parking for blue badge holders only. Overflow car parking will be available at Antrim Stadium and a free shuttle bus will be provided.
