Clarke hits out after flowers stolen from graves

A local councillor has hit out at those responsible for stealing flowers from local graveyards.

Councillor Linda Clarke she was disgusted to hear that incidents had taken place in Randalstown recently.

“It is absolutely disgusting to hear that flowers have been stolen from graveyards in Randalstown,” Cllr. Clarke said.

She added: “Having flower arrangements from loved ones graves being stole is disgraceful behaviour, carried out by low-lifes who need to be named and shamed.

“The PSNI have been made aware of these incidents however I would urge those who are about the area to keep watch as families have been left hurt and devastated by these incidents.

“Any information, regardless of how small may bring those responsible apprehended and let families continue in a long grieving process and allow them to pay respect to their loved one.”
