Police in Antrim are appealing for information following the arrest of two males, aged 19 and 21, in relation to two separate incidents.
The men have been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage, and on suspicion of criminal damage, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, possession of an offensive weapon and criminal damage. Both incidents occurred on Friday, October 4.
It is reported that at approximately 7am, two males kicked the wing mirror off a blue Ford Focus car in the Neillsbrook Park area of Randalstown.
It is understood that the two males, one on a bicycle and the other on foot, damaged a black Saab in the Neillsbrook Road area of Randalstown.
When the owner of the car approached the males they assaulted him before making off. One of the males was wearing a maroon coloured sweatshirt and jeans.
The man sustained injuries to his face which required hospital treatment; his injuries are not thought to be life threatening at this time.
Both males have been released on police bail, pending further enquiries.

Officers are especially keen to speak to a man wearing a long, heavy coat and white earphones who was at the scene.
