There was a record turnout at Antrim Borough Council’s Winter Wonderland at Antrim Lough Shore Park last Thursday night, as Santa arrived by boat and distributed gifts to children in his grotto.
There was something for all the family to enjoy.
Cool FM kept the crowds entertained and played Christmas music. Children enjoyed Christmas arts and crafts, a dance workshop and a festive train ride. Clementsmount Fun Farm impressed the crowds with their animal display and children enjoyed the giant snowman bouncing castle and the climbing wall provided by Eye Feels Good.
The Lough Shore Coffee House provided tasty Christmas fayre and there was a wide range of craft items and Christmas gifts on display.
Karen Steele, Development Manager (Visitor Servicing) for the council, said: “Antrim Borough Council was delighted by the number of people who turned out to support the Christmas event at Antrim Lough Shore Park. We hope Santa will make a return to the Lough next Christmas!”
