Airport fire-fighters raise funds for NI Hospice

Belfast International Airport

Belfast International Airport

Belfast International Airport Fire-fighters Sloan Gibson and Girvan Fleming hand over a cheque for £2400 to Sharon Gorman, donor development officer, from the NI Hospice.

The money was donated in memory of Sloan’s 34 year old son Richard who sadly lost his battle with cancer in October last year.

Sloan and his colleagues held coffee mornings in the airport as well as participating in ‘Movember’ to raise money for the NI hospice.

Both Belfast International Airport and the Air traffic Control teams contributed to this fantastic amount of money.
