Members at the dinner dance hosted to celebrate the 65th Anniversary of the Randalstown Apprentice Boys of Derry Walker Club.

Randalstown Apprentice Boys of Derry Walker Club held a special dinner dance to celebrate the lodge’s 65th Anniversary.

The event was held in the Ross Park Hotel Kells and attended by alomost 100 guests.

Visitors from the Walker parent club in Londonderry and from Glasgow in Scotland joined in the celebration.

The lodge was formed on May 28, 1949 by 13 men from Randalstown and surrounding townlands and paraded at the Relief of Derry Celebrations in Londonderry that year with 34 members.

The Lodge has grown from strength to strength with a membership of 55 now.

The lodge bases its principles and values on traditional culture and heritage and thanked all the support given to them over the years and strives to keep the lodge growing from strength to strength.
