Spec-tacualar Optom-ism for Specsavers in Antrim

HIGH demand for eye examinations has led Specsavers Antrim to take on another optometrist.

Darren Caulfield officially joined the team at the Castle Mall Shopping Centre store last week.

The store has noticed an increasing demand for eye tests and eye health advice since it opened in February this year, so decided to take on another optometrist.

Store director Davin Quinn said: ‘Darren Caulfield has a wealth of optometry experience and has been a member of the Specsavers team since 2001.

“With the addition of Darren to the group in the Antrim store, it is estimated that an extra 15 appointments per day will be available, which should help appease the growing demand for appointments within the area.”

The store boasts two testing rooms and the latest technology, including the most up-to-date pre-testing equipment and a digital retinal camera. This technology is becoming an increasingly valued part of the eye examinations carried out by optometrists, and at Specsavers there is no additional cost for this service.

Specsavers in Castle Mall caters for the whole family and should also be the first port of call for designer frames. Prices for complete glasses start at £25 and Specsavers’ renowned 2 for 1 offer applies to frames priced from £69. The offer includes designer frames such as GW by Gok Wan and the Karen Millen collection.

The store is open six days a week: Mondau to Friday, from 9am to– 5.30pm and Saturdays from 9am to 5pm.

Please phone 028 94 427610 to make an appointment for frame styling and for all your eyecare needs.
