Mainstage event for Dirty Digital with Dutch trancers W&W
NORTHERN Ireland’s newest club night Dirty Digital returns to Beach, Odyssey Pavilion Belfast, on Friday, June 29 with headline trance act W&W.
It is the Belfast debut for the Dutch duo, ranked Number 36 in the world, less than five years after their formation.
W&W are joined at Dirty Digital by Northern Ireland’s fastest-rising trance pairing Tucandeo, residents Chinese Girlfriends, and a selection of the country’s best up and coming DJs.
Since 2007 W&W (aka Ward van der Harst & Willem van Hanegem) have been described as one of the freshest and most exciting electronic dance acts on the planet.
Their productions have found favour with A-list spinners on a global scale with tracks like ‘Mustang’, ‘Arena’, Mainstage’, ‘Manhattan’, ‘Impact’, ‘AK47’, and ‘Three O’Clock’ becoming instant dancefloor anthems.
Headline performances on the globe’s biggest stages are common place for W&W who have graced festivals including Trance Energy, Tomorrowland, A State Of Trance, Global Gathering, Creamfields, Nature One, and Sunrise Festival amongst others.
Other standout shows include appearances at major clubbing venues in USA, Canada, Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, Australia, and across Asia.
W&W’s Mainstage radio show is now a permanent fixture in the listening schedules of trance enthusiasts across earth and is broadcast on stations as diverse as Sirius XM in USA, Kiss FM in Ukraine and Dance Paradise Radio in Brazil.
Now W&W arrive in Belfast for the very first time as they spearhead proceedings at Dirty Digital on June 29.
They are joined by Belfast trancers Tucandeo who are riding the crest of a wave with massive production, remix and gig success over the past 18 months.
Tucandeo are signed to leading trance record labels including Coldharbour and Magic Island and have had numerous tunes picked up for inclusion in artist mix compilation albums including Markus Schulz’s ‘Prague 11’ and Sied van Riel’s ‘Rielism’.
Their monthly radio show In-Sessions is aired on the first Monday of each month on leading online station Afterhours.fm and Tucandeo are securing more international gigs than ever before with shows in GB, Netherlands, Bulgaria and Ukraine. 2012 also sees them make their DJing debuts in Asia.
But before that they join W&W for Dirty Digital’s second outing on the Northern Ireland club scene smack bang in our capital city!
Dirty Digital returns to Beach, Belfast, with Dutch trance heroes W&W and Tucandeo on Friday, June 29. Support comes from Chinese Girlfriends, MickMag & JustBob, Paul Harper, and Glen Hawthorne vs Jonny Haslett.
