BALLYMENA hairdresser Julian Dalrymple will be swapping her scissors for running shoes when she takes part in this year's London Marathon.
Julian, who owns The Sitting Room salon, will be running the marathon in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

To help raise funds for the charity, Julian and her colleagues at The Sitting Room will be hosting a 70s and 80s themed disco at Galgorm Manor on March 20.

This looks set to be a fun night with guests enjoying a drinks reception followed by a three course dinner.

Put on your best fancy dress outfit and relive the music of the 70s and 80s with a disco to follow with entertainment from the White Knights.

Admission is £35 per ticket, with those booking a table for 10 getting one seat free.

For more information, contact The Sitting Room on 2564 0001.
