Antrim Macmillan group raises over £1,000

SIR - The Antrim Fundraising Committee, Macmillan Cancer Support, would like to thank everyone who gave so generously to their street collection in Antrim town centre, Islandbawn Supermarket, Muckamore and at Centra, Junction One on Saturday, May 9, 2009.
Also our very best thanks to our volunteer collectors for their support and help.

The total of £1,114.92 was raised on the day. This money will be allocated to the Macmillan Cancer Support £2.1 million fundraising appeal for a new palliative care unit at Antrim Area Hospital.
