Mayoral reception to mark Chain and Jewel anniversary

COUNCILLORS Adrian Watson, Mayor of Antrim who with his wife Heather, hosted a reception in Antrim Civic Centre last week to mark the 30th anniversary of the presentation of the Mayor's chain and Jewel from British Enkalon.
The gift was presented in 1978 by Dr Rolf Schierbeek (pictured right) who was the Managing Director of the company. Dr Schierbeek and his wife also made a personal presentation at that time of the Jewel & Chain for the Mayoress.
